LCSA Partnership

  • What is the Local Community Stabilization Authority (LCSA)?

  • The LCSA levies the local community stabilization share tax and distributes the revenue generated to public agencies throughout Michigan under the LCSA Act for local purposes including police safety, fire safety, and ambulance emergency services.

  • How are LCSA payments distributed?

  • Historically, LCSA payments have been distributed via paper checks and ACH payments only. Moving forward, LCSA payments will be distributed in the following formats:

    1. Transfers directly into a Michigan CLASS account
    2. ACH Payments
    3. Paper Checks

*You may incur fees associated with wires and/or ACH transactions by your bank, but there will be no transaction fees charged from Michigan CLASS for such transactions.
