Michigan CLASS and Cutwater Asset Management while recognizing the public nature of our Participant’s information and their State law compliance requirements with respect Michigan CLASS and Cutwater Asset Management is sensitive to the privacy needs of our Participants to public information. Does not share or sell client lists, mailing addresses or e-mail addresses except as required by law and even then, the release is reviewed by the Trust’s general counsel.
Visitors to www.michiganclass.org do receive a “cookie” (a unique identifier used to track visitation) on their computers. Also, Participants using Client Connection generate a “cookie.” These cookies are used for the purposes of tracking usage and site functionality during their sessions.
In the course of corresponding with our Participants, Michigan CLASS representatives will NEVER ask a Participant to divulge or verify their Client Connection Personal Identification Number (PIN).
All Participant information is stored in a secure database within the United States of America. Access to the database is limited to authorized persons
E-mail Usage
E-mail, as a means of corresponding with Participants, provides numerous operational advantages, such as cost savings, timeliness and flexibility. From a Participant’s perspective, e-mail affords a timelier and more direct means of receiving important account information, Michigan CLASS and Cutwater Asset Management will rely on e-mail as the primary means of communicating with and distributing materials to Michigan CLASS Participants. If a Participant wishes to not receive e-mails from Michigan CLASS they may request removal from the distribution list. Such requests should be made to Client Services.
